The Spider (Cross): The central forged steel four-point core treated with a protective black surface coating to reduce corrosion and wear over time.
Bearing Cups & Needle Rollers: The machined metal caps positioned over the cross journals, packed with needle bearings to handle immense radial and moment loads.
Grease Zerk / Fitting: A 45-degree angled grease nipple threaded directly into the center intersection. This allows for regular manual greasing, maintaining lubrication inside the bearing channels to maximize the joint's service life.
Retention Hardware: The kit includes four external snap-rings (circlips) that lock into internal groove tracks on the driveshaft yoke to keep the cup assemblies securely seated.
